Terms and Conditions
MAKING A BOOKING
A deposit of 30% of the total cost of the safari secures your booking.
PAYMENT
Full and final payment must be received by Dave Simpson Safaris Ltd no later than sixty days before travel.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation must be made in writing.
Conditions of cancellation are as follows:
More than sixty days before travel: Deposit forfeited.
Less than sixty days before travel: Deposit (30%) plus 25% of total cost is forfeited.
Less than fifteen days before travel: 100% of total cost is forfeited.
No refund will be given to guests who fail to join a safari or leave before its completion.
INSURANCE
Guests are not covered by our insurance while on safari. We strongly recommend that each guest takes out a Comprehensive Travel and Medical Insurance Policy, which should also cover them against the loss of payments in the event of cancellation. Insurance is the responsibility of each guest and we suggest it is arranged when the initial deposit is paid.
LIABILITY
Although every possible care is taken to safeguard guests and their property, we accept no liability to guests for any accidents, injuries or illness incurred or arising from any safari outfitted by ourselves, or for loss or damage to guests' property during such a safari.
GENERAL
The right is reserved to alter the itinerary should this be considered necessary or advisable, and in our guests' best interests. All prices are quoted in US Dollars. In extreme circumstances Dave Simpson Safaris Ltd reserves the right to change rates in the event that airlines and other service providers increase their rates. By booking and paying a deposit for a safari, you are deemed to have accepted the liability and insurance clauses outlined above and are also deemed to have understood and accepted all of the booking and cancellation conditions.
